Write a short story about my dog. Essay my pet. That's it Kuzya

In Moscow, in a quiet side street, there is the Moscow City Service Dog Club. When I first came to the old premises of this club, I involuntarily drew attention to a stuffed huge dog with protruding ears. Below, at the dog’s feet, one could read its name: “Karo.”

Karo was a wonderful dog, an all-Union champion. Champion means “winner”. So Karo was the winner at all dog shows.

I was interested in the fate of Karo. From conversations with club instructors who were dog leaders during the war, I learned that Karo is just one of many wonderful dogs that faithfully serve man. I began to write down everything that the instructors and dog owners who often come to the club said. And so there were many stories about dogs that carried the wounded from the battlefield during the war, helped sappers find mines, went with scouts behind enemy lines, and about dogs that save travelers during landslides or snow drifts in the mountains, and about dogs who guard apartments and go shopping with their owners, and even about the dog that I raised myself.

The Moscow Service Dog Club has sites in various parks in Moscow. There, every Sunday, dog owners, many of whom are boys and girls, bring their animals for training. Dogs jump over barriers and learn to follow various commands.

Every trained dog must perfectly know as many as fifteen dog disciplines. As if these disciplines are not complicated and each consists of only one word: “near”, “sit”, “fetch”, “to me”, “lie down”, but try teaching the dog to walk the way it’s supposed to - clinging closely to the left side of the owner, instantly lie down and get up, bark on command. This requires a lot of patience and endurance. You can’t get angry and irritate the dog yourself; you need to be able to pet the animal, praise it if it fulfilled the command well, give it a piece of sugar, sausage or meat.

But there are still guys who tease dogs and beat them, not realizing that they are man’s true friends.

I decided to retell all the stories that I had collected to my little readers.

Those dogs that you will read about in this book - Dick, and Dzhulbars, and Reggie, and Malysh, and Orlik, and Elbrus, and Chalka and Rozka - are real, living dogs. The stories about them are not made up.

HOW PALM MASTERED ALL FIFTEEN DOG DISCIPLINES

Slava was still in the fifth grade when his dad brought home a light gray fluffy ball. From this ball of soft wool only a black, cold nose peeked out and brown eyes, like small chestnuts, blinked.

This is Palma, - said dad. - If you study well, I will allow you to raise a dog and train it.

Slava fell in love with the puppy, walked with him, played and tried to bring home only A's.

In the summer everyone went to the dacha. The palm tree was given a bed in the barn. Next to her, behind a low partition, lived a heifer. At first Palma was angry with her, growled and, although she was ten times smaller than the heifer, even bit her good-natured muzzle. Then I got used to it. They became friends... They walked together. When the chick was sleeping, Palma climbed onto her head and settled comfortably between her large ears. The two of them slept so sweetly that snoring could be heard from the barn.

The two of them had a great time and had a lot of fun. And if any other dog ran up to the heifer, Palma would growl at it.

When the family returned to the city, Palma immediately had enemies: a car on the street, and a floor brush at home. The palm tree looked at the brush from around the corner for a long time. She doesn't look like anyone else! It doesn’t look like a cat, and it doesn’t look like a dog: there’s no muzzle, there’s no tail, but the fur is black and stiff! The palm tree could not pass by the brush indifferently - it would quietly bite it, then jump back and move sideways, sideways...

The cat Barsik lived in a city apartment. One day Palma wanted to play with him. But the cat was not young, did not like liberties and grabbed Palma in the face with his paw. And on his paws the claws are sharp, like thorns on a fence. Palma squealed and from then on began to politely walk around Barsik. If Barsik is lying on an armchair, Palma does not even look in that direction, as if there is no armchair.

One day Barsik was given two pieces of sausage. He ate one piece, but did not eat the second: he left it on the saucer and went to the sofa to sleep. Palma carefully approached the sausage, sniffed it, and wanted to take it, but at that time Barsik raised his head. The palm tree dropped the sausage, licked its lips and moved away from the saucer.

One day dad said:

Well, how long will you be chasing each other to no avail? You need to learn Palma.

Slava went to the kennel club and talked with the instructor there. He said that if he wants to teach a dog to obey, he must first complete the courses for young dog breeders himself.

So the classes began: in the evening, after school, Slava studied with an instructor, and early in the morning he taught Palma.

Oh, how difficult it was at first! Palma thought that they were playing with her: she jumped, grabbed Slava by the pants and did not pay any attention to his commands. Many days passed until Palma realized that if Slava says “to me,” she must run up to the owner and obediently walk next to him. The “stop” command was especially difficult to remember. This is not because Palma is such a stupid dog, but because she is lively, active, loves to run and hates standing still.

Gradually Palma became quieter and more reserved. Sometimes, however, she forgot and began to behave badly on the street: she rushed to small children to play with them, and ran away from her owner. Then Slava said to her menacingly: “Ugh!” This means “you can’t”, “stop”, “stop”. At this prohibition command, Palma immediately stopped with a guilty look.

When Slava trained Palma in the yard, spectators gathered. But Palma did not pay attention to them. She looked only at Slava with her wet brown eyes. Everyone laughed a lot when Slava commanded: “Voice!” Then Palma barked briefly, abruptly. Barks twice: “Woof, woof!” - and waits to see if Slava will repeat his command again.

When Palma correctly carried out Slava’s orders, he told her every time: “Good!” - stroked and gave something tasty: a piece of sausage, meat or sugar. Slava began to call sausage a "four" and sugar a "five." He got so used to it that one day at breakfast he said to his mother:

Unsweetened tea, high five!

And everyone laughed.

Once Slava accidentally deceived Palma. He told her: “Go for a walk!” Palma ran for the leash and collar, placed them near Slava and wagged her tail. She was always very happy when they went for a walk.

But someone came, Slava stayed late and forgot that he wanted to go for a walk with Palma.

Then he called Palma again, but she no longer believed him and did not bring her leash. Slava told the trainer on the site about this, and he said:

You should never lie to a dog. She must definitely trust her master. You deceive her once, twice, three times, and then she will stop listening altogether.

Since then, Slava has never deceived Palma.

Slava and Palma are great friends. The palm tree protects its little owner and guards the apartment.

One day they brought firewood to Slava’s parents. The firewood was dumped right on the street, and there was no one to put it in the barn - everyone was at work. Then Slava said: “Guard!” The palm tree lay down near the firewood and looked at everyone passing by with distrustful, wary eyes.

Slava’s comrades decided to play a joke: they quietly crept up from the other side and pulled out several logs. Palma jumped up and rushed at the guys. No one else dared to approach the firewood while the Palm lay near them.

ALL ABOUT BARSIC!

My name is Vitalik Kuzmin. I study in 5th grade at school No. 25. I have a cat, his name is Barsik! My mother taught the cat to sit on its hind legs with its front paws raised. When mom says to the cat: “Voice!”, he begins to meow. The funny thing is that he eats bananas, meat, buns, and cucumbers. And even yogurt. Barsik behaves like a dog. I treat him well and am friends with him.

THAT'S SO KUZYA!

My grandfather has a cat Kuzya. He is special, he eats everything: carrots, cabbage, potatoes, crackers, chips. When someone arrives, Kuzya begins to lie on the floor, stomach up. He loves to play football. At night he sleeps with his grandparents. When we sit down to eat, Kuzya jumps into grandfather’s arms and sleeps, and grandfather has to eat with his left hand. Sometimes, when grandma gets up to take the kettle, Kuzya jumps over to grandma’s place. He loves to sleep in a basket in the hallway.

FREEDOM-LOVING LUSYA

A land tortoise, Lucy, has been living in my home for two years now. At the family council, we decided that we would not put her in an aquarium or in some kind of box, because an animal, like a person, needs freedom. Lucy is a very freedom-loving turtle. She crawls where she wants and sleeps when she wants.

When Lucy wants to eat, she crawls out into the middle of the kitchen, rises on her front paws, stretches her head and turns it around. If she could speak, she would say: “People, can’t you see, I’m hungry!” Lucy really loves cabbage, apples, carrots and raw potatoes.

One night I went into the kitchen to get a drink, didn’t turn on the light and almost stepped on a turtle. I was very scared, I even jumped, and Lucy crawled past without paying any attention to me.

Lucy crawls very quickly, not at all like a turtle. If she has some kind of goal and she strives for it, she will not be able to keep up with it. Sometimes she hides somewhere, and our whole family searches for her. At such moments, we regret that our Lucy does not know how to utter any sounds (for example, bark, meow or something else).

My Lucy is a very smart and beautiful turtle, and I love her very much!

BATTLE OF SMOKY AND MUSIC

I have a cat, his name is Music, and a rat, Dymok. Musick is one year old, and Dymka is already two years old. When we took Musick from friends and brought him home for the first time, he saw Dymok and, first of all, climbed towards him. At first he sniffed, and then began to poke his paws towards it. Suddenly Dymok grabbed the cat's paw with his teeth. Musick began to scream wildly. Blood poured out. Mom jumped up and began beating Smoky with a rag. Finally, Dymok let go of his paw, we bandaged it for Musick, and after a week everything healed. Then we began to put Haze on the closet. Dymok and Musick no longer fought with each other.

I have a dog, his name is Mukhtar, but I mostly call him mukha. He responds to this nickname, which means he understands that they are addressing him specifically. The fly on the nose appeared as a puppy. He was so small, I even saw his eyes open. They are born completely blind. I saw his first steps, it was so funny to watch him sway from side to side like a clumsy bear.

When he grew up a little, I started teaching him all sorts of commands. I taught him to walk next to me, when I gave him a command, he carried it out, it was so cool and he liked it too. He even learned to fetch a stick, and most of all he loved to play with a ball. Mukha brought it to me and asked me to play with it. He and I constantly run after each other when we go for walks. He likes it that way. When I hide from him, and he can’t find me, the fly starts barking, I guess you can say, and so come out, I give up. I love him so much, my Mukhtar.

About the dog.

Everyone knows that a dog is man's friend. She is devoted to a person and can even sacrifice her life for him! Probably no one remembers the moment when a dog became a pet. It seems like it has always been this way.

A dog is not just a friend - it is an assistant in various matters. For example, I recently saw photographs on the Internet where a dog was holding an open newspaper from its owner, who was eating and reading at the same time. But here she sits, and her muzzle serves as a kind of shelf for washed linen, which the owner puts in the closet. She can be a great companion for a lonely person!

The dog often serves as a guide for the blind. She helps the police find criminals based on the trail they leave. And at customs he is an excellent smuggling detective! A specially trained dog will detect drugs and even weapons. The dog faithfully serves with the border guards, protecting its state. It protects various premises and special-purpose objects. A dog can also help in war. She will carry out the wounded and can even deliver cargo.

There are also sled dogs. They are most common on the server. For example, a breed such as the Samoyed dog. This amazing animal is completely white in color and has beautiful wool, which is used to make medicinal back belts for humans. This breed name surprises many. But you need to know that she does not eat herself. It’s just the name of the tribe of people who bred them. Although they didn't eat themselves either. In general, it is believed that this breed of dogs does not have the gene for aggression, so they should not even wear a strict collar so that the dog does not withdraw into itself. This is a true friend and helper for any family or single person. And yet, she barks so loudly that she can wake up the entire neighborhood! Therefore, you also need to look for a better watchman.

My pet is a dog

Many of my friends have cats, fish, hamsters, and rats at home. And my favorite pet is a dog, which I want to talk about in my essay.

My dog White lives at home, he is now two years old. And he came to us very simply: my mom and dad came to the poultry market to buy a little kitten. At one point we passed by a grandfather who had a tiny white lump sitting in a box. It was very cold, and the puppy shrank and shivered all over from the cold. We couldn't pass by. It turned out that the puppy was being given away for free to good hands. They didn’t ask for money for him because he was a mongrel. Grandfather said that he would grow into a medium-sized dog, and that we would definitely not get bored with him. Without thinking twice, we decided to take the dog home.

The next day we took White to the vet who said he was completely healthy and about two months old. True, due to the fact that he was vaccinated, it was possible to walk with him only after a month.

White, indeed, turned out to be very cheerful and playful. The first few days, of course, he got used to the apartment and was very modest. But over time, he began to feel like a full-fledged member of the family.

I trained White a lot, and now on command he can sit, lie down, give a paw, jump over a barrier, fetch a toy or stick, dance and a lot more. White is a very smart dog, he understands everything at a glance.

We feed White porridge with meat and vegetables. Most of all he likes buckwheat with beef and carrots.
I take long walks with White, especially in the evening. In the summer, he and I will go to the village to visit our grandparents.
White is the best dog. Our whole family is just happy that we picked him up from the bird market that day. He gives us many joyful moments. White is my best friend, and I love him very much.

Option 4

It’s not for nothing that a dog is said to be man’s best friend. Her devotion knows no bounds. This is the creature for whom you are all life. She is ready to give her life for you. Coming home, I see joyful eyes that are filled with sincere love and devotion. She worries with me when I’m in a bad mood and rejoices when I’m positive.

She very subtly senses any fluctuation in my mood.

I can't help but be pleased by the fact that dogs only recognize one owner throughout their lives. This once again shows their devotion to man.

Any pet is a full-fledged member of the family, but only a dog will be completely happy about this, because its distant ancestors have a herd lifestyle and a strict hierarchy.

Any dog needs training, and I can safely be proud that I take part in it, enjoying the results of my work when it follows my commands. At such moments, I feel an incredible connection between my four-legged friend and me.

Dogs come in different breeds, some are for protection, some are for herding livestock, others are just a sweet delight to the eyes with their presence. And each of them is not just a cute creature.

Each dog has its own character, which is very important when choosing a particular breed. For me, the important criteria are devotion, love and protection. But not only we can give love to a dog, but she can too.

Dogs are one of the smartest creatures on our planet. She can think, assess the situation, show feelings, and even sometimes, when she breaks her mother’s favorite vase, shyly lower her eyes to the floor. At such moments I already want to protect her.

A dog is one of the few animals that will live with you throughout your life, hour after hour, because dogs are very emotionally connected to their owner and dependent on him.

I immediately involuntarily recall the words of the Little Prince: “...we are responsible for those we have tamed...”. The dog will always find its way home, will always sit faithfully at the door waiting to be let in, fed, walked or played.

A text about a dog is usually asked in grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7

Guard dog

In late autumn I was vacationing on the Volga near Saratov. At a nearby recreation center there lived a huge shepherd dog loose. Every morning she ran to the house where I lived to get “breakfast” from me. She knew that I would always have food for her.
One evening I walked past the base where this shepherd lived, and I saw that she was lying not far from the road and was carefully watching me. I called out to her as if greeting her and continued walking towards my house. When I caught up with her, she suddenly stood up, jumped on me and bit me painfully.
All evening I was perplexed about the reason for such an ungrateful act. And I was completely surprised when I saw the dog again the next morning at my door. Then, it seems, I understood yesterday’s incident: despite the close acquaintance, the shepherd dog strictly observed its guard functions and vigilantly guarded the territory entrusted to it.

V o rishka

I'll tell you about another dog that lived with a friend of mine. This dog was very beautiful and smart, but when left alone in the house, it became uncontrollable. Left to her own devices, she tore curtains, chewed furniture, and ruined carpets. The owner understood that this was her favorite way of expressing her anger at her forced loneliness, and she could do nothing about her.
For some time now, shiny small things began to disappear in the apartment: gold rings, chains, earrings. Even the small gold watch disappeared somewhere. There were no strangers in the house, and the search led nowhere.
Further living with the dog, meanwhile, became unbearable and the woman decided to give it into other hands.
After the new owner took the four-legged friend, the owner decided to do a thorough cleaning of the apartment. Under the carpet lying on the floor, she discovered all her missing items.

R i c h - r e v n i v y p e s

Rich is a huge dog with thick black fur. The bottom of his paws are colored light brown and it looks like he's wearing nice socks for style. He has an unusual pedigree: his mother is a real she-wolf, found in the mountains as a small animal and raised at home, and his father is a shepherd dog. Despite such formidable parents, Rich is generally a kind dog. She always treats me kindly when I come and even wags her tail as a sign of special affection.
One day I came to the owner of the house for her birthday and she hugged me in joy. “Rrr-rr-r,” I heard suddenly behind me. I turned around and saw a threatening grin of a dog growling at me. Apparently, he didn’t like the too warm welcome the hostess gave me, and I had to calm him down.
Rich followed me around all evening, and when everyone sat down at the table, he settled down at my feet. Peace was achieved only when I treated him to something tasty.
On the next visit, Rich, as soon as he saw me, growled again. Noticing, however, that no one was showing warm feelings towards me anymore, he quickly calmed down.
Why do you think he behaved this way? He was jealous of my mistress.

When I was still in school, we were given a wonderful puppy. He had a wide muzzle with big eyes, thick short legs and dark thick fur.
Our new tenant was very fond of boiled potatoes and milk. After the meal he trotted off to his mat. After some time, he began to respond to the name we gave him. The puppy grew quickly and became so fat that he looked like a barrel.
One day he whined all morning, and then lay down in his place and became silent. I thought he choked on a bone and opened his mouth slightly, but he bit my finger. And he didn't make another sound. After some time he died.
They took the pitiful dog to the veterinary hospital. There the doctor opened the body and found that the entire stomach was filled with worms. And four long worms even stuck out in my throat. They strangled the poor puppy.

When we lived in the city of Starodub, in the Bryansk region, we had a small garden with fruit trees. To prevent the ripe fruits from being stolen, the garden had to be protected, and for this purpose they gave us a dog. Or rather, a puppy. That same day I built a wooden kennel for him, placed it in the yard and tied the puppy to it at night. In the morning he was not there. They stole it.
Of course, we were sad, and in the evening we went to visit relatives. We told them about our disappearance, and they offered us their dog, nicknamed Damka. The lady was small, similar in both her muzzle and her red coat to a fox.
They brought her home, tied her up, and went into the room. After a while I go out to check - no Damka. The rope with the collar is lying on the ground, which means that she got out of the collar and ran away. However, she soon returned and we fed her. And the next time she wanted to go for a walk, she easily left her collar and came running back again.
The lady was a quiet dog, she didn’t bark, but we wanted her voice to be heard far beyond the fence. At night, however, she slept peacefully, and we had to guard the garden.
One day, however, the Lady broke free from her leash, rushed at the elderly woman and tore her dress. But this only caused us trouble.
Sometimes our “guard” would run away for several days, and after that she would appear thin, hungry and wagging her tail guiltily. Somehow she ran away once again and never returned - we never saw her again.

Angry dog

This happened in Kazakhstan, where I once lived. I needed to get into one house, but a huge angry dog lived in its yard. No matter how much I knocked on the window that faced the street, no one responded. Meanwhile, voices were heard from the house. What to do, how to enter the house?
I thought that dogs, no matter how angry they are, also have fear, just like people. He opened the gate and entered the yard. A terrible dog rushed at me with a wild bark, but the chain holding him did not allow him to approach me. However, I still couldn’t go into the house - then I would have to close the distance between me and the dog, and it could grab me with its teeth. But I made up my mind: I began to very slowly approach the house. The dog became even more furious. There was very little left before him, and I was getting closer and closer. And suddenly he... backed away from me! I took a step, then another. Now the dog could bite me if he wanted, but he continued to move back. Until I drove him completely into the kennel.

After that, I walked towards the front door of the house. The dog continued to sit in the kennel and did not even try to stop me. Here is the front door. He knocked and, having received permission, entered the house. There were a lot of people in it, they were very noisy and therefore did not hear my knocking on the window. But the owners were terribly surprised how I was able to walk through the yard past their angry dog.
Having finished his work, he headed towards the exit. The owner detained me to tie the dog on a short chain. When I walked across the yard, she again struggled and barked loudly, but she could no longer do anything to me. I safely reached the gate and went outside.

The dog is the very first animal that man could tame. Scientists are inclined to believe that the dog became a domestic animal back in the Late Paleolithic era, that is, several tens of thousands of years ago. In those days, dogs helped people hunt wild animals and guarded settlements, warning of the approach of strangers. Since then, dogs have accompanied people everywhere, helping in various areas of life.

Nowadays there are shepherd dogs, rescue dogs, guide dogs, sniffer dogs, guard dogs and others.

Saint Bernard - rescue dog

Appearance

The dog belongs to the canine family from the order of predatory animals. The origin of the dog as a species is not known for certain. Some scientists believe that the dog came from the wolf, while others believe that it came from the jackal. But the majority is still inclined to believe that the ancestor of the dog is the wolf.

The appearance of dogs is very diverse. According to official data from the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, there were 339 dog breeds in the world in 2013, and each dog breed looks different. There are dogs large and small, short-haired and long-haired, with large and small ears, coat color varies from white to black with many transitional shades (beige, brown, sand, gray, ash, etc.).

The smallest dogs of the Chihuahua breed - their height at the withers can be only 15 cm, and the tallest dogs are Great Danes, their height at the withers can be 100 cm or more.

Great Dane is the tallest dog

Dogs' sense organs

Dogs, like humans, have 5 senses - vision, smell, hearing, taste and touch.

Dogs have color vision, but they see fewer colors than humans. Dogs clearly distinguish green, yellow, purple, blue colors and their shades, but they do not perceive red and orange well. But dogs can distinguish about 40 shades of gray.

Dogs are very sensitive to smells. Their amazing ability to distinguish and detect odors helps them easily find a scent, determine the approximate distance to the source of an odor, and distinguish odors from a mixture of various aromas. Thanks to these qualities, dogs can find people trapped under rubble and detect prohibited items and substances at airports.

Dogs have good hearing; they hear twice as well as humans. The sense of touch is also well developed. Dogs can feel even a light touch on their fur. They like to be petted, but they don't really like to be hugged.

Dogs have much fewer taste buds on their tongues than humans. Therefore, their taste sensations are not the same as those of people. However, it is known that dogs can distinguish sweet tastes well and love sweets.
