Apple juice in a juicer for the winter. How to use a juicer: step-by-step instructions

If the harvest of apples from your plot has been so successful that you don’t know where to put them, then the best decision is to buy a juicer. This device will allow you to easily prepare a huge amount of juice for the winter. In addition, the remaining cake can be used in the preparation of some desserts.

Many housewives limit themselves to making juice using a juicer. Unfortunately, using the device is not always profitable. The juice cooker is several points ahead of it in terms of its advantages. This is especially true when you need to process a lot of apples.

Pros of a juicer:

  1. Ease of making juice - when preparing fresh juices using a juicer, you need to spend a lot more effort. You can simply put raw materials into the juice cooker, put it on the fire, close the lid and go do other household chores.
  2. The quality of the drink - the resulting period is immediately ready for consumption. Also, it does not need to be boiled to be rolled up for the winter.
  3. Waste-free production - when making juice in a juicer, unnecessary pieces of fruit and berries are formed. They can then be pureed for filling pies and buns. Steamed apples are used for marmalade, marshmallows and marshmallows.

Juice cooker: how to cook apple juice?

Juice from berries and fruits can be obtained by 2 methods - through physical action (squeezing) and steam. The juicer works according to the 2nd principle. The device resembles a large pan consisting of 3 parts. The lower wide bowl is not very tall. Thanks to it, in fact, steam is formed. Above it is a container with a hole through which it passes to the raw material. The apples themselves are placed in the last part of the juicer.

How to cook apples in a juicer? First of all, prepare the required amount of fruits. The varieties can be any, but not too sour. You should not select fruits based on their appearance. Bad places can always be cut off. The main thing is that there are no rotten apples.

Pour water into the lower bowl of the juicer. About 2/3 of its volume. If necessary, liquid is added during the juice distillation process. Insert the middle part into the juicer. Place the device on the stove over medium heat.

While the water is boiling, we return to the apples. Cut them into medium slices. Too large ones will not allow steam to pass through - therefore, there will be little juice. And the small ones will soften and clog all the holes in the upper container. As a result, the passage of juice will be disrupted. You can leave the top peel of the fruit, but remove the seeds. There is an opinion that they accumulate not so much vitamins as various harmful substances.

When the water in the lower bowl of the juicer boils, pour the apples into the upper container and place it in the appliance. Close with an airtight lid and set aside for 1.5-2 hours. The heat must be reduced during this time. Sometimes you can check the presence of water in the lower container.

Afterwards we cook 1 more pan. We place it next to the faucet of the juicer and open it to let the juice flow out. Pour the resulting liquid into sterilized jars and close with metal lids.

  • Apples - 3 kg
  • Sugar - 400 g

  1. Pour water into the lower bowl of the juicer so that the level is above the middle. Place the device with the upper container previously removed over medium heat.
  2. While the water is heating, take the apples. Typically, more juice comes out of succulent varieties (not winter varieties). Cut off all rotten areas. Cut the fruit into slices. Place them in a bowl with holes.
  3. When the water boils, place this container in the juicer. Sprinkle sugar on top of apples.
  4. Cover the device with a lid and leave the juice to cook for 50 minutes.
  5. Drain the liquid through a special tap-hose into another container.
  6. You can drink the juice immediately, allowing it to cool or pack it hot for the winter.

Spicy juice

Compound:

  • Apples
  • Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, sugar - to taste

Preparation:

  1. Pour water into the juicer and put it on fire.
  2. Cut the apples into medium pieces. Place them in a container with holes. Put spices on top.
  3. When the water in the juicer boils, place a bowl of fruit in it. Sprinkle them with sugar on top. The more sour the apples, the more it should be. For 1 kg of fruit it takes about 70 g of sugar.
  4. Steam the apples for about an hour. Then pour the juice into a clean container.

A good housewife, of course, has a question: where to put the leftover apple pulp? Unlike the raw material that is produced in a juicer, it can be used to make a range of desserts.

Apple marmalade - apples contain pectin. Therefore, the marmalade made from them is very tasty. First you need to take out the steam-softened pieces of fruit. Then the peel is removed from them. Mash the pulp in a separate pan with a spatula. Then a small amount of sugar is added to it. This mixture is placed on the stove and heated, stirring occasionally. Otherwise it will burn. When the mixture becomes liquid, add the required amount (according to the instructions on the bag) of agar-agar into it. Of course, you can use gelatin, but it adds flavor to desserts. Agar-agar is more neutral. The resulting mixture is poured into silicone molds.

Pastila - Russia has long been famous for Belevsky pastila. Unlike modern versions of this sweet, it was made from pure apples. Therefore, the cake remaining after the juice can be used in the preparation of this natural dish. As with marmalade, the apples are peeled. Then they are placed in a pan and crushed with a spoon. Then a small amount of sugar is added to the mixture and boiled over low heat. Keep the apples on the stove until the mixture thickens. Finally, it is spread in a 1.5 cm thick layer on baking paper or cling film. You can eat the marshmallow only after it has dried.

Filling for baking - every housewife knows how difficult it is to bake pies with jam so that the filling does not leak out. The apple mixture remaining after cooking the juice in a juicer will help correct the situation. Apples should be peeled and mashed with a spoon in a deep plate. Then a little sugar and cinnamon are added to them. You can also experiment with other ingredients - ginger, raisins, nuts. A similar filling is used in yeast buns, rolls and pies.

Marshmallows are also always prepared using applesauce. According to the recipe, the fruits are pre-baked in the oven. You can skip this step by using steamed apple pulp.

Apple juice can be prepared in a juicer in just an hour. To begin, pour water into the lower container. It is thanks to its boiling that steam is formed, which will help expel the juice. Fruits should be placed in the top bowl with holes. After the time has passed, the juice is drained from the middle container of the device using the built-in hose. It should be prepared for the winter immediately.

Apple nectar is considered very useful if you cook it in a juicer. Many housewives are concerned about the question of how to cook juice from apples in a juicer. In fact, it's not difficult at all. To prepare the juice you will need apples and a little time. And the drink will be much healthier and tastier than what is sold in the store.

Juice cooker: how to use

Many housewives who have just bought such a wonderful saucepan as a juice cooker want to watch or download a video on how to cook apple juice. In fact, there is nothing particularly complicated in the process of juicing a drink using a unique device.

Before you start the process, you need to understand what a juicer is and how to use it to make apple juice.

A pressure cooker looks like a tall saucepan consisting of several parts. Water is poured into the very bottom; in the middle there is a juice collector, from which a special tube extends. And at the very top there is a colander into which clean and chopped fruits, berries or vegetables are placed.

The juice cooker is easy to disassemble and clean, which makes it very convenient to use. It does not make noise, does not become clogged with pulp, and there is no sediment left after use. It is very easy to get apple juice from a juicer. When heated, the juicer evaporates boiling water into the colander area where the apples are located. Under the influence of steam, they begin to secrete sterile hot nectar, which then flows through a tube into the collection.

A juice cooker allows you to make a pasteurized drink that can be stored for a long time. Stores for 6-8 days in the refrigerator.

Apple juice through a juicer for the winter: recipe

To prepare aromatic apple juice using a juice cooker (the recipe uses a juice cooker with a capacity of 6 liters) you will need:

1. Rinse selected apples thoroughly with water.

2. Cut into slices, removing the core.

3. Place apple slices in the upper mesh pan of the juicer, covering them with sugar.

4. Pour water (about 4 liters) into the lower pan of the juicer and bring to a boil. Place the middle part of the juice cooker (designed to collect the dripping juice) and a saucepan with fruit and sugar on top of a saucepan of boiling water. Close tightly.

5. After 20-30 minutes of boiling, loosen the clamp on the outlet tube and drain the first juice (about 1 cup). This juice is not sterile, so you need to pour it back into the pan with the fruit to boil again.

6. You can already see how the apples have steamed and decreased in size, giving up some of the juice. Now you need to reduce the intensity of the heat and continue cooking the juice in the juicer for another 40-50 minutes.

7. Turn off the juicer and leave for another 20 minutes to allow the juice to drain. Then you need to remove the clamp from the tube and drain all the resulting juice. Drain the remaining juice (not falling into the tube) through the wall of the juice collector. The juice is poured into sterilized jars or bottles. Wonderful natural apple juice is ready!

On average, the whole process takes 1.5 hours, and the result is 2.5-3 liters of pure apple juice. Very healthy and appetizing, it perfectly preserves the aroma and taste of fresh apples - which is why its preparation is so popular among other fruit juices.

Apple juice options

The taste of apple juice is pleasant to everyone. It is so versatile that it goes well with any fruit and berries: strawberries, currants, raspberries, pears, grapes, plums and many others. Therefore, you can safely combine apples with your favorite fruits, giving apple juice additional taste, color and aroma.

Apple-strawberry juice

One of the successful options for this combination is apple-strawberry juice. Strawberries make the juice brighter, richer, sweeter and more aromatic. In addition, strawberries, rich in vitamin C, iodine, potassium and iron, will increase the beneficial properties of apple juice. To prepare apple-strawberry juice, you need to wash the strawberries, remove the stems and place them in a mesh pan along with the apples. Juice from strawberries is released faster and in greater volume. The cooking process remains the same.

Apple-grape juice

Another option for assorted juice - apple-grape. Unlike the first option, grapes soften the taste of apple juice, making it lighter and more transparent (if white grapes are added). Vitamins B and P, ascorbic acid, iodine and potassium contained in grapes complement the list of beneficial properties of apple juice. To obtain apple-grape juice, you need to wash the grapes and, without separating the fruits from the branches, add 2-3 medium bunches to the chopped apples in the net. Cook according to the apple juice recipe described.

You cannot add sugar to hot juice after cooking, even if it seems sour. The drink will be lost and will not last until winter. If sour fruits are used initially, you need to sprinkle more granulated sugar on the layers in the barrel.

Sweet apples produce aromatic juice, but it may lack that very acid that gives brightness to the taste. The solution is to add lemon. You can simply sprinkle the apples with powder mixed with granulated sugar. Alternatively, dilute a little acid in boiling water and pour over the apples.

How to cook apple juice in a juicer for the winter: recipes from simple to sophisticated, drinks with various additions and general principles of preparation, selection and combination of products

Apple juice in a juicer for the winter

Juice cookers have been familiar to housewives since Soviet times. Their design has not changed at all. It is convenient to cook juice from apples, grapes, and pears in a juicer. In this recipe we will tell you how to prepare apple juice in a juicer for the winter, and from the remaining apples after squeezing the juice we will prepare apple jam.

The advantages of using a juicer compared to a juicer are undeniable:

Apple juice in a juicer

It is very easy to prepare apple juice in a juicer. Apple juice prepared at home for the winter is not only tasty, but also, perhaps, the healthiest - it does not contain any unnecessary additives, like store-bought juice. You can make apple juice in a juicer without sugar. It will not be too concentrated, but, on the contrary, gentle: it does not need to be diluted

The most difficult, or rather time-consuming, process is preparing the apples: wash, peel and cut.

When the apples are ready, place them in the topmost pan of the juicer.

The bottom pan is intended for water, but the middle pan will collect apple juice, for which we started all this action.

Preparing apple juice in a juicer:

So, put the apples in a saucepan, pour water into the bottom one and set this whole structure to heat on the fire.

When the water boils and the apples are steamed and the juice is released, you will need to return to the kitchen.

The first portion of apple juice will need to be poured into a jar

Then pour it back into the medium saucepan due to the fact that it is not sterilized enough and it is not advisable to seal such apple juice in jars for the winter - it will not be stored properly.

You need to remove the top pan with apples and place it in some container for a while:

Pour the apple juice back into the pan and add sugar to taste:

Place the top pan back and continue heating.

Then you need to prepare the jars and lids.

Pour apple juice into a sterilized jar

Immediately cover with a metal lid and roll it up or simply screw it on if it is a screw cap.

Just leave it to cool in the air.

You can use steamed apples to make a pie filling: just put it in jars and cover with metal lids,

or you can make delicious applesauce.

To do this, pass the steamed apples through a colander using a wooden potato masher

As a result, the thin skin remains in the colander:

The purest applesauce - in a cup.

This applesauce turns out very tasty - not concentrated, but delicate. The taste is very similar to Soviet-era children's applesauce in 200 ml jars.

So, only the skins remain from the apples, and the juice and puree or pie filling go into jars: waste-free technology!

Preparing apple juice for the winter is not a complicated process; as a bonus, you get an excellent pie filling, ready for use, or tender applesauce.

Don't forget to leave the apples for the apple pie - beautiful and very tasty! Or you can whip up a fluffy balloon with apples (you only need a couple of them)

That's all for today! Have fun cooking and share your impressions in the comments.

Preparing apple juice for the winter - apple juice in a juicer - Delicious food

Apple juice in a juicer is an easy way to prepare apple juice for the winter. Homemade apple juice is the most delicious and healthy!

If you have a juicer on your household, you can easily prepare natural apple juice and sugar-free applesauce for the winter. Homemade juices without chemicals or preservatives are so healthy and tasty!

The principle of operation of a juice cooker is very simple: water boils in the lower pan, fruits or berries are treated with rising steam, under the influence of which the juice is released. The juice flows into a medium saucepan, and from it into the prepared container.

Apple juice in a juicer: a recipe at home

We will need ripe apples, approximately 6-7 kg. It is better to take apples for juice that are well-ripened, sweet, and juicy. Wash the fruits thoroughly.

Cut out the seed chamber of fruits cut into quarters (unless, of course, you plan to make puree from the leftover apples). Otherwise, the seeds can be left.

Pour hot water into the bottom pan of the juicer. There should be a lot of water. While preparing the juice, be careful not to let the water boil over.

Install a juice receiver with a rubber hose on it to drain the juice.

And finally, the top perforated pan, into which place the apples cut into thin slices. Finely chopped fruits will release juice faster and easier. Close it with a lid. If the apples are small, then it will be enough to cut them into four parts.

Place the juicer on the stove and prepare a pan into which the finished juice will be poured. When the water in the bottom pan boils, reduce the heat to medium. Opening the lid after half an hour, you will see that the apples have begun to darken and become softer.

Gently stir the apples every 20-25 minutes. This will speed up the separation of juice.

After 40-50 minutes, depending on the ripeness and size of the apples, apple juice will begin to form.

While the juice is released, continue collecting it. A full pan of apples left a small pile of “apple waste”. Use them to make applesauce.

Wash jars or bottles and their caps thoroughly using soda. Sterilize in a convenient way. Stir the juice in a saucepan and pour into bottles. Cover with lids.

Then you need to sterilize the juice in bottles. To do this, pour water into a suitable pan, place a napkin or small towel on the bottom and place the bottles in it. Close the pan with a lid and sterilize from the moment of boiling for 15-18 minutes.

Remove the bottles from the pan using a towel and screw the lids on tightly. Place the bottles in a jacket or blanket, wrap them up and leave until completely cool.

Make sugar-free puree from the leftovers. Transfer the apples from the juicer to another pan.

Rub through a metal sieve or immersion blender until homogenized.

Place the applesauce in a heavy-bottomed casserole dish or saucepan. If the apples are not sweet, you can add sugar if you wish.

Bring the product to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer the puree for 10-15 minutes. In this case, the contents of the pan must be constantly stirred so as not to burn to the bottom.

Rinse with soda, sterilize and dry small jars. Place the boiling puree in them and quickly close the lids.

Place the jars next to the juice, cover them with a blanket and leave until cool.

A juicer turns out to be much healthier and tastier than store-bought. Unlike a drink prepared using a juicer, here the juice is cleaner, without sediment, and the device does not require electricity and is quieter. And from the remaining fruit pomace you can then make delicious jam. Let's find out with you how to prepare apple juice using a juicer.

Recipe for apple juice in a juicer

Ingredients:

  • sugar – 150 g;
  • apples – 1 kg.

Preparation

Wash the apples, first cut them into small slices 15 mm thick, and then chop each piece crosswise into halves. If you chop larger apples, they will heat up slowly in the juicer and the process of making juice will take a long time. Pour water into the lower container of the juicer and heat it to a boil.

Then we place a second saucepan in it with a small hole in the middle to collect the juice and create a steam space. Insert a colander into this pan and pour chopped apples into it. The steam generated by cooking in the lower pan heats our fruit and softens it. At the same time, the fruits begin to secrete juice, which flows down a tube into a pan placed in advance.

If the apples are not heated enough, the juice flows out slowly and cools quickly. Therefore, be sure to ensure that the water boils well. After the apples have completely softened, we disassemble the juicer, pour the juice remaining in the second pan into a saucepan and pour it into pre-sterilized and hot jars.

If the apple juice has already cooled down, then first heat it to 85 degrees, add sugar and pour it. Next, roll up the lids of the jars and place them upside down on a flat surface. Wrap, cool and store in a cool, dark place.
