    We want freshness in everything, and now we are in a hurry to adjust our menu. Yes, fruits and vegetables are not available yet, we will talk about them a little later. But the first thing that probably appears on our tables is greens - young onions, parsley, dill. It can be argued that today progress has made them available all year round - both on store shelves and in the form of frozen preparations in the freezer. However, that first, fresh spring greenery still pleases the eye and feels completely different.

    But let me return to the topic of today’s article. Yes, we will talk about one of those “herbs” that we usually use as seasonings and additions to salads, soups, and main courses. Namely about dill, or rather its seeds. Probably most of us know little about the fact that dill can be used not only for culinary purposes. Mostly, young mothers who are faced with the problem of colic in newborns learn about its healing properties. That’s when it turns out that the so-called “dill water”, obtained precisely from dill seeds, has a calming effect on children’s tummies. But the medicinal properties of dill seeds do not end there.
