I wrote a review about IQOS II generation device, and, as promised, I’m writing a review about the sticks that you need to buy for it, because... nothing else fits this device.

This review will focus on Parliament Blue sticks, it was with them that my acquaintance with IQOS began.

Now sticks with a different name and flavor have gone on sale in Russia, but since Parliament Blue sticks are still sold in some places, I hope my review will be relevant.

The sticks are sold in small packs, much smaller than a standard pack of cigarettes, and the sticks are, of course, shorter in size than regular cigarettes, only 4.5 cm.

These sticks have a filter mouthpiece on one side, and the other part is filled, according to the manufacturers, with natural tobacco. Before inserting the stick into IQOS, you need to stretch it a little. Then turn on the device itself (with the stick already inserted) and smoke this stick. Nothing complicated.

Just one stick is enough for 14 puffs. According to my feelings, there are more of them in a cigarette, so at first it always seems like I’m missing something))). Then IQOS turns off, the stick must be pulled out, making sure to expand the device, well, and, in fact, that’s all.

The sticks used have no nice smell, but outwardly they look like unused, or slightly burnt.

There are two used sticks in the photo above, but they look different as you can see.

About 5 pieces out of a pack do not produce any vapor at all when smoked, apparently they have some kind of defect or something else. I have never come across half-empty sticks; they are always tightly packed. But what is it all about?

The contents of the stick are similar in appearance and smell to tobacco, but it is somehow in the form of strips and glued together.

The taste of these sticks is specific, I would say, but quite tolerable, and you get used to it.

Of course, there is a smell, although I feel it very faintly, and, of course, it cannot be compared with the smell of a smoked cigarette! But non-smokers and people who are sensitive to smells smell it immediately and, as a rule, they don’t like it. So whether you can, for example, smoke IQOS in a room with a non-smoking colleague is a big question))). It's better to go out if you're not alone.

Of course, there is some chemical involved, but in any case, the sticks are much nicer to use than regular cigarettes. Although you should always remember that everything is good in moderation. Well, it’s better not to smoke anything at all, and not to vape))).

Well, the price is 130 rubles. does not look cheap at retail, although this, as I understand it, average price for 1 pack of cigarettes.

Can't quit smoking? Do you have a lot of money? There is an alternative to cigarettes! IQOS smoking system! This miracle cigarette has many advantages. But there were some downsides, of course.

It took a lot of money to develop it. There are also a whole bunch of specialists. The level of harmful substances released is reduced by 90-95% compared to a cigarette.

Before this cigarette, my husband had not smoked for more than three months, but periodically put so-called “chewing” tobacco (snus) under his lip. Overall, I personally liked the device. Firstly, this is shredded tobacco High Quality(as the manufacturer claims), soaked in glycerin, then pressed, which is simply heated to a certain temperature without burning (350 degrees. A cigarette burns at 800"). You smoke (about 15 puffs), the device turns itself off, you pull out the stick and throw it away. You insert the heater itself into the charging unit (the heater charges for 5-6 minutes), after which you can smoke again. The stick is similar to a cigarette, only half as long. Pressed tobacco sheets are inserted into the stick.

Secondly, there is no thick smoke when exhaling. For some it is a plus, for others it is a minus. As I understand it, if tobacco is impregnated with glycerin, then when we exhale we get steam.

Thirdly, you can smoke almost anywhere! You don't have to go far. You release little smoke there is practically no smell. It is there, but it dissipates very quickly, not caustic, not disgusting. Even in a taxi with the windows closed, the driver is unlikely to notice that you smoke. You can smoke even in a restaurant, even in mall, even in your own bed. Only those who know this smell will notice. Now I can smell this smell quickly and understand that someone is smoking nearby.

Fourthly, no ashes because there is no combustion. No need for shakers. This is a plus for the third point. I smoked and disposed of the stick. That's all.))

The taste is completely different, not cigarette, unique. But smoking cigarettes, perhaps, at first it will be unusual. I still recommend trying mint initially, although it gets boring over time. I don't like regular tobacco at all.

Although I messed something up myself. But that’s not the point! The device is changed very quickly if you don’t like something! Come to the office, say that you are not satisfied and they will replace it with a completely new one. You can come back for a whole year while the warranty is valid.

They invested a lot of money in the offices and services, it’s immediately obvious. The company has options for “islands”, and there are private establishments. Walking in is like walking into a cafe. Soft sofas, tables in front of them. You can use free sticks. You will definitely be offered coffee and a couple of chocolate bars. Of course, it’s boring to just sit there, but I also saw business people there. They sit and discuss their ideas. But if you have any questions or problems with the device, they will not only help you, but will also make you feel a little more relaxed.

To start an IQOS vaping session, you need to make sure that the holder is charged, and then install the stick in a special hole.
